Apple + Kiwi + Banana Green Smoothie

Pulling out the Vitamix to boost nutrition.


  • 1/2 fuji apple
  • 1 kiwi
  • 2 chunks frozen banana
  • grapes
  • lemon juice from one lemon (I used some liquid lemon juice I had)
  • white rind from cauliflower cut in 2 or 3 chunks  (Figured I'd try using this & see what happened)
  • 2 or 3 large leaves &; stems from collard greens
  • 1 to 2 cups ice (I used one cup & would recommend using 2)


Outcome:  very green, thick, mildly tart, not too sweet, not too "grassy" but definitely has a fresh green taste.

Could add some fresh ginger for a kick.

-  Fuji apples
-  green and red grapes
-  lemons
-  limes
-  pears
-  nectarines
-  kiwi
-  frozen strawberries
-  frozen blueberries
-  fresh pineapple
-  avocados
-  Roma tomatoes


-  mustard greens
-  collard greens
-  baby spinach
-  green lettuce
-  green cabbage
-  red cabbage
-  yellow squash
-  yellow onions

-  coconut water
-  non-sweetened almond milk


Already have:

-  frozen banana chunks
-  fresh ginger root
