Apple Kiwi Green Morning

  • 2/3 cup apple juice
  • pineapple chunks
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 kiwi with skin
  • about 8 grapes (mixed)
  • 2 tbsp flax seeds
  • couple handfuls of baby spinach
  • 1 slice of red cabbage
  • some spring greens
  • 1 or 2 leaves of frisee
  • ice
Looks kind of like an army green drink, maybe slightly lighter.  I ran out of bananas so the avocado was added to make it smooth/creamy.  It's very thick and mostly creamy, although the 1/2 avocado couldn't really take the place of a banana.  The apple juice gives it a little bite, as does the pineapple.  Definitely needed more liquid; I added some water to my glass after I took the picture.
